The dry season is colder, and the temperatures can drop to 32ºF at night along the Inca Trail. Temperatures range from 59-68ºF during the day (if it's sunny), to 41-50ºF during the day (if not sunny) and 32-41ºF at night at the first 2 campsites. At Wiñaywayna and Machu Picchu, at lower altitude, temperatures are usually warmer though warm clothes are still recommended at night.

SUGGESTED TRAVEL LIST
* Valid Passport.
* If you have travel insurance, be sure to bring copy of policy details
* Money Belt or Neck Pouch
* MedicAlert bracelet if appropriate
*
Cash, credit cards, ATM card. The most widely accepted credit cards are
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. There is often an 8
to 12% commission for credit card charges. It is often cheaper to use
your credit card at an ATM to get money.
* Phone card if you plan on phoning home.
* Baggage:
-Two pieces of baggage are allowed up to 50 pounds plus one carry on.
-The weight limit for internal flights in Peru is often 22kg.

WHAT TO TAKE :
You
will be on the move a great deal, so our general advice is to pack as
lightly as possible. And old rule of thumb has always been to lie out
what you think you will need, put half of it back, and you will still
have too much.
At the higher altitude inn the Andes Mountains the
temperature can feel cool especially at night. You should pack for both
a hot climate as well as an autumn type climate. On July and August is
dry season but there might be some rains in the mountains so you should
include a rain gear.
We recommend using a duffel bag or backpack.
Suitcases are not to appropriate. A small daypack is also essential.
The following list is a general guideline:

SUGGESTED LIST TO TRAVEL:

ITEMS
Insect repellent
Rain jacket
Toiletries
Hat
Battery
operated alarm clock (there are a lot of early mornings you need to be
up, we have found your own time piece helps even if there are clocks in
rooms some may not have alarms.)
Water bottle
Small flashlight

Small sewing kit

Sleeping bag (or you may rent one in Cusco)

Sunscreen

Backpack or Hiking Pack for the Trek to carry all your items

Toilet Paper

Water bottle or non-disposable canteen such as a Nalgene type

Extra cash in soles and/or U.S. dollars, NO ATM's on the trail or in Aguas Calientes town.

CLOTHING
Light pullover or sweatshirt
Warmer sweater or polar jacket or polar fleece
4 shirts, 4 t-shirts
2 pairs of shorts / skirts
3 pairs of long pants
Underwear and sleepwear
Thongs or flip-flops
Walking shoes or hiking shoes
Towel and swim wear
Thermal underwear.
Rain gear (poncho, jacket, and pants)

OPTIONAL
Camera
Playing cards or other favorite games
Reading / writing material
Sunglasses
Baseball cap
Sandals
*Travel insurance is highly recommended!

Altitude Sickness:

to see if you are candidates for a medication to prevent altitude
sickness.

PLEASE NOTE: Learning

The most widely accepted credit cards are Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. There is often an 8 to 12% commission for credit card charges. It is often cheaper to use your credit card at an ATM to get money.
* Phone card if you plan on phoning home.
* Baggage:
-Two pieces of baggage are allowed up to 50 pounds plus one carry on.
-The weight limit for internal flights in Peru is often 22kg.

WHAT TO TAKE :
You will be on the move a great deal, so our general advice is to pack as lightly as possible. And old rule of thumb has always been to lie out what you think you will need, put half of it back, and you will still have too much.
At the higher altitude inn the Andes Mountains the temperature can feel cool especially at night. You should pack for both a hot climate as well as an autumn type climate. On July and August is dry season but there might be some rains in the mountains so you should include a rain gear.
We recommend using a duffel bag or backpack. Suitcases are not to appropriate. A small daypack is also essential. The following list is a general guideline:

SUGGESTED LIST TO TRAVEL:

ITEMS
Insect repellent
Rain jacket
Toiletries
Hat
Battery operated alarm clock (there are a lot of early mornings you need to be up, we have found your own time piece helps even if there are clocks in rooms some may not have alarms.)
Water bottle

CLOTHING
Light pullover or sweatshirt
Warmer sweater or polar jacket or polar fleece
4 shirts, 4 t-shirts
2 pairs of shorts / skirts
3 pairs of long pants
Underwear and sleepwear
Thongs or flip-flops
Walking shoes or hiking shoes
Towel and swim wear
Thermal underwear.

OPTIONAL
Camera
Playing cards or other favorite games
Reading / writing material
Sunglasses
Baseball cap
Sandals
*Travel insurance is highly recommended!

Altitude Sickness: This is a high altitute site and the air is much thinner up there. Check with your health care provider (physician or Nurse Practitioner) to see if you are candidates for a medication to prevent altitude sickness.

PLEASE NOTE: Learning Escapes reserves the right to increase published trip, cruise rates and air fare supplements without prior notice when necessary because of vendor increases.

ROOMMATES: Learning Escapes will assign roommates on a first come, first serve basis. Michael worked as a loan officer at a Los Angeles Bank and even as a kindergarten assistant. In an interview that he granted years later, Michael referred to it as the toughest job he has ever had: "By midday, when the kids were taking their naps, I'd put my head on the desk and take one, too. I was exhausted." Michael does note, however, that some of the inspiration for his most famous "MADtv" character, Stuart, comes from those challenging experiences with the youngsters.
He tested for not only "Saturday Night Live" and "MADtv" but also a sitcom, and in 1998, at the start of the show's fourth season, Michael at last became a "MADtv" cast member. Although he began Season Four of "MADtv" as a featured player, he was quickly bumped up to full cast member status.
In addition to his guest appearances on shows such as "Seinfeld" and "Ellen," Michael had a recurring role on "Scrubs". Among Michael's film credits are brief appearances in all three Austin Powers movies and a starring role in 2006's Moonpie, which also stars one of his former "MADtv" coworkers, Stephnie Weir.

Schedule of Events:
7:00 p.m. Pre-show mixer **
8:00 p.m. Showroom seating

Dress for the Improv is casual.

**Please note that all shows require a two item minimum per person in the showroom.
